Our client, Top Fibra, required the development of a hydrotester skid for pressure testing GRP pipes. They had an existing P&ID, but needed us to design the skid, procure all necessary equipment, and carry out the manufacturing and assembly of the hydrotesting skid. The challenge was to create a compact, efficient, and reliable solution that could handle high-pressure testing while maintaining precision and safety. Additionally, the project required seamless integration of mechanical and electrical components, ensuring smooth operation under varying testing conditions. Given the complexity of the project, careful coordination was necessary to align design, procurement, fabrication, and final assembly within a strict timeline.

Process
Based on the provided P&ID, we designed the skid within the required dimensional constraints and submitted it for client review. Once approved, we proceeded with the detailed engineering and procurement of all essential components. Following this, we fabricated the structural frame, integrated the required piping and instrumentation, and performed a full assembly of the system. Finally, we conducted internal quality checks to ensure full compliance with operational and safety requirements before delivering the final product.
Result
The completed hydrotesting skid capable of generating up to 64 bar pressure, provided Top Fibra with a reliable and efficient solution for pressure testing GRP pipes. The turnkey approach ensured seamless execution from design to assembly, reducing their internal workload and guaranteeing a fully functional system ready for operation.
